Leading insurance software specialist, Axe Group, has recently welcomed Mark Moner as their first Contract Manager. Mark has over 20 years’ experience working in the software and energy industries, specialising in software licencing and contract management. Most recently, he was managing over USD $20 million in annual maintenance and support contracts for General Electric – APAC.

Mark believes good contract management offers significant benefits for Axe Group clients. “It’s an end-to-end process that begins with the tender proposal, where I can offer advice on how best to structure the relationship. That’s followed by the negotiation of requirements, where I work to ensure that all the client’s needs are reflected in the contract. And then, once the contract is decided upon, I make sure that both our delivery team and our clients have a full understanding of all the deliverables agreed to and what each expects from the other. By lowering the chance of misunderstandings or lack of transparency, our customers can budget more accurately and plan for the future with more certainty.”

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, which includes a nearly 13-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old stepson. A reluctant retiree from cricket due to injury, Mark still loves watching all sorts of sport, going for walks and feeding the birds in his back garden.
