Managing the rehabilitation process is an important part of minimizing the cost of claims. Pre-defined rules for managing rehabilitation can be incorporated into the system and enforced using automated processes. Rehabilitation specialists including out-placement clinics and others can be systematically brought in to review cases, with the aim of getting claimants back to work as early as possible, and therefore reducing claim costs.
