An insurer's Underwriters will have an Underwriters Workbench so from a single place they can:

  • Manage referrals – including reviewing referrals, approvals or declinations
  • View and manage manual applications (in image format)
  • Manage facultative requests to reinsurers
  • Review book of business – policies in force, strike rates, claims history, cleanskin rates
  • Cleanskin improvements – track where automated processes are dropping out on referral, review answers to all questions, identify changes to questions to improve cleanskins
  • Update underwriting rules, subject to authorization and within governance controls and risk profiles.
